Clearing 4} Liam and Axel

Liam played by Julian, Axel played by Kiwi
The ginger haired man was always a wanderer. His feet took him places, just as much as his books and his mind did. He always seemed lost in thought, even during his younger years he was like this. He brought a pencil, and a journal, which he likes to write stories in. He gets inspiration from the woods, and small streams. He came to a clearing, his blue eyes looking and observing his surroundings.*
Axel was sat against a tree lost in thought a bit. He had his sketchbook and was doing some warming up before he was going to work on the animation. He hummed enjoying the gentle breeze and the darkness of around him. Today had been a good day for him and he was happy about it.
Liam had caught notice of Axel, and at first mistaken him as a girl due to his long hair. Liam had somewhat of a beard. He then realized that the boy leaning against the tree was a dude. He gulped, looking down at his feet, getting nervous. He doesn't talk to too many people, his social interaction skills are awful.
Axel wasn't paying enough attention to notice the bearded man walking into the clearing, so he just kept drawing. He made a clicking noise with his tongue, as he looked over some sketches. He still wasn't sure if he wanted to get on his computer yet so he started another sketch.
Liam gulped, fidgeting with his hands. He scoot closer, as his curly orange hair fell into his frcekled face. He seemed so nervous just to get the courage to talk to someone. He was writing a fantasy story, about elves and fauns. "A-are you writing...?" Liam internally facepalmed. He could've at least started off with a greeting. Gosh, he's not good at this.
Axel almost jumped out of his skin and he looked up at Liam. He stared at him for a second in silence, "I um," he prossesed the question slowly and closed his sketchbook. "no I was drawinG why do You um ask?" He was a bit nervous now as well, why was he being approached in the middle of nowhere.
"Oh, I- I didn't mean to startle you... I was just wondering because I saw you were doing something so I got curious and-" Woah. Slow down, Liam. The freckled man adjusted his glasses, still looking down at his own journal, which was less a journal, and more a storybook. He inhaled l, and let out the quickest sentence known to man. "hi, imliamfiction-" It came out a mess of words.
Axel watched him and he seemed confused. The words were all kind of lumped together, and he wasn't really understanding the situation. Axel looked up at him and fixed his own glasses. "What? I don't really um" Axel scratched at his arm and stood up "You are talking to fast I dOn't really Understand what You are Getting at?"
Liam looked nervous, as he gave the most awkward smile. "Ah, I'm- I'm Liam Fiction. That's my name." He took a deep breath. He hadn't talked to someone in a while, he has always been so isolated. "Uh... What are you doing out here?" Did that sound mean? Liam hoped it didn't sound mean.
"oh um well, I'm Axel Testma," He reached his hand out for a shake, "Um I am drawing wHat are YOu doing out here?" he was calculating the best corse of action through this situation, but it was strange meetimg someone all the way out here. The whole reason he came to the clearing was to stay away from everyone in the first place but here he was standing in front of another person. Just his luck.
"Oh! I write books. Fantasy, mostly." Liam stated, pulling out his storybook. He was grinning now, books seemed to be something he was really passionate about. His curly ginger hair fell into his freckled face once more as he looked down. He looked back up at Axel once he took a deep breath. His eyes were a brilliant blue color. "Nice.. to meet you."
"oh interesting, you come out here to work too then I take it," He put his hand back down looking at him. "also it is Nice to meeT you as Well," Axel's eyes were a cool grey and his face showed that of a very stoic individual. He tucked a peice of his hair behind his head.
Liam looked like a very skittish person. Liam nodded. "I do... It gives me inspiration... The story is about a satyr.. well, more a faun.. who- who is fascinated by human things, but.. he's always too shy to talk to a human. He's afraid the humans won't like him." Liam said, looking down at his journal book. "I'm planning to have the faun meet an elf-" Liam hoped Axel didn't already see him as dumb or lame. Liam was probably vibrating now.
Axel listened to Liam speak, he seemed interested in the story. "Wow it seems like an intEresting tale, you are welcome to Sit here and write I suppose. I guess It isn't my place to tell you to lEave since this is the forest," Axel sat back down in his place and opened his sketchbook again. One more sketch and he'd move on, one more.
Liam was now sweating, as he sat down next to Axel. He opened up his journal story book. He then took out his pencil and started writing. Liam occasionally took glances at Axel.*
Axel was focused on his sketching not noticing the glances. He finished the sketch he was working on and shut the book, he'd done enough warm up it was time to get to work. He took out his computer and began to let himself up to begin animating.
Liam was now watching Axel. "What are you doing..?" Liam asked, his blue eyes glancing over at his computer screen. Liam seemed interested. "Are you.. digitally drawing?" Liam wasn't too good with computers, or art in general. He was a great writer and reader, but he wasn't too good when it comes to sketching and drawing.*
Axel looked at him and raised a brow , "yes I am drawing digitally, I am animating a show, also worKing," He looked back at his computer and started to scribble on the pad again. He was focused and determined to at least get a good bit of what he wants done done.
"I see... I'll leave you to it, then!" He gave a nervous, awkward smile, as he looked down at his storybook, continuing to write. Liam looked at the sky, his blue eyes glistening. He then looked back down, scribbling a few words. His curly, ginger hair was about shoulder length long.
The wind blew through the clearing as the moon began to rise, this didn't even face Axel, he was to busy scribbling away on his pad. His face was focused, he was focused. To him this was everything, and because it was his everything he tirelessly worked. Some may say he's a workaholic but he didn't care, not when this is what he loved doing.
Liam liked the nice breeze. The night made it harder to see his writing, but that just gives him more time to think of a plot. He then turned back to Axel's work, watching him animate. Liam knew nothing about computers or art- so it was all new and fascinating to watch an animator work. Liam didn't want to distract Axel, so he silently watched, his blue eyes brighter due to the computer screen.
Axel mumbled to himself and shook his head or made a noise every now and then. He worked for a while, he was focused alright. When he finally noticed someone staring at him he looked over at Liam. "um do you neeD somthing?"
Liam froze. He stuttered, trying to find words. "N-no, I don't need anything, s-sir, I- I was just- fascinated by your work-" Liam looked embarrassed and nervous. His blue eyes looked around, trying not to make eye contact with Axel to avoid awkward eye contact.
"Oh," Axel said now staring at Liam, this was a strange interaction for him that was sure. "um thanK you I guess," He looked back down at his computer, he didn't really know what to do here, so he just sat.
He gave a thumbs up, a nervous smile on his face. "No problemo." He stared back at Axel, sweating. It was clear that Liam probably has zero idea on how to interact with a person like a normal human being.
He looked back at Liam for a few moments, he decited to stay silent and look back at his screen. He started to draw again getting some of his frames done.
He tensed up, still in a trance about the others' art skills. He was fidgeting with his own hands, he didn't really bring a fidget because he didn't expect to meet anyone. He usually brings small fidgets when going into large crowds.
Another good amount of time passed while Axel was drawing, then he checked his watch. He nodded shutting his equipment down and putting it away. He looked at Liam and stood up.
Liam looked back at him, raising an eyebrow. He then stands up, too. "Is something wrong?" He asked, adjusting his own glasses.
"No nothing is wrong I just should be getting home," He looked around the clearing, "Um good luck with you're writing I suppose." Axel turned around and started to head the other direction.
