Three Sisters

Three small continents arranged north to south compose the Three Sisters, so named not just for geographical convenience but also because of the relatively isolated trade and cultural development each underwent. Though close to the Imperial Continent, the difference in latitudes between the three landmasses and difficulty of most empires to establish a meaningful foothold from without makes for unique peoples and customs.
North Sister is largely tundra in the northern half and broad plains in the southern half; the interior is arid but typically cool, with few rivers cutting through the interior. Nomadic tribes dominate the interior, with a handful of settlements nearer the coast.
Middle Sister stands in stark contrast, with jungles and flood plains competing for land. The metropolis Nextitehuacan sits here, and its influence (and the influence of the Smoke Jaguars in general) pervades the area. Several other cities dot the interior and coasts.
Southern Sister has a prolific mountain range in the middle, home to Puka Kalli and other dwarven settlements. Humans and halflings have settled the low-lying areas, taking advantage of sweeping plains and ample rivers.

Fauna & Flora

The Sisters dominate a broad range of latitude, making shared agriculture difficult despite recent trade. While trade has brought a wild variety of crops and domesticated animals to the continents, each one must be tended in a climate that suits them. Though they've also exported several crops, these lands are best known for cocoa, corn, potatoes, llamas, and riding dogs.
