Dwarves
The Diminutive People
Dwarves are the descendants of the less numerous and shorter Fir Bolg. Over time the Fir Bolg separated into groups with like traits, breeding within these groups lead to the loss of the original diverse genetics the Fir Bolg inherited from both their Nemedian and Menaðíos ancestors. These groups became the Dvergr and Korrigans, both races headed east, away from their human cousins, trekking over the ice bridge to the continent of Ecíos.

History
The dwarves emerged over a millennia after the end of the The First War. As they separated from their ancestors, the Fir Bolg, they also began to spread east to the northern continent of Ecíos. Already divided by certain physical differences, the Dvergr and Korrigans became even more separated on their trek to Ecíos. In the harsh cold of the northern ice bridge, the dwarves called out to Ðíos for aid and strength, but two different Ðíos answered. The Dvergr heard the voice of Toř'Dis and the Korrigans heard Tař'Ívē, these became adopted as their respective patron deities and forever divided the two people. From there the joint history of the dwarves stop, as breeding with like individuals and evolving to new climates split them into two separate races.
