Aiden Dylan Parrish

The night was inky black and speckled with stars. The moon was bright, and was the only source of light, now that the street lights had been shut off. It was ethereally beautiful, but one of the few people awake to see it was fourteen-year-old Aiden Parrish, and the quiet beauty of the night was the last thing on his mind.

His eyes were shut, and his hands were clasped gently over his slowly rising and falling stomach, his fingers rubbing together.
If someone had walked in right then, and not looked closely, they would’ve just left, assuming he was asleep.
But Aiden was far from asleep, his mind too preoccupied, too wild and alert for him to fall asleep.
It was one of those difficult-to-describe thoughts. Difficult to find the words, even if they were right there in your mind.
Aiden had opened biographies from before the world went to hell, and some parts of them had confused him until they were explained. Until it was explained that once upon a mere twenty years ago, things had been alright. Bad things still happened, bad people still tainted the ground they walked on, but things were better. The way things were now were not normal.

Aiden had not yet been born when the war began. He’d be born six years after it began, and two years after that… the good guys would lose. That didn’t happen in the books.

Aiden works out fairly often as a given result of his "career," so he's fairly fit by neccesity.

Aiden has dark skin, a wide nose, and fuller lips.

Aiden shaves, although he has some stubble when the story concludes in his mid-twenties. He has a youthful face and thicker eyebrows.

Aiden is right-handed and has a habit of talking too quietly, repeating himself, and stuttering when nervous

Aiden owns all three of the stones at the end of the story (pre-epilogue, at least.)

Aiden primarily uses a gun that causes small explosions or stuns people rather than shooting bullets, although he does sometimes shoot as a last resort. He occasionally uses swords or long daggers.

Personal history

in 0 PS, Aiden's parents were killed and he was adopted by Ada Carr. In 12 PS, he received a letter requesting that he join The Ravens and accepted. In that same year, The Ravens disbanded before coming back together in 16 PS.

In late 13 PS, Aiden's world was turned upside down, rendering him confused, angry, and depressed. Things started to get better before falling apart again. In his mid-twenties, Aiden had finally recovered from the events of his childhood.

Mental Trauma

Aiden suffers from PTSD in his adulthood and possibly mid-adolescence, and although he doesn't suffer from depression, fell into a period of it during his mid-late teens.

Intellectual Characteristics

Aiden speaks three languages, and isn't the most logical of people, often rushing into situations without thinking very much.

Aiden used to have a very black and white view of the world - that actions were universally good or bad regardless of circumstances, but as he matured came to see the world as much greyer.
