The Wilds

Known as the Wilds, it encompasses the southern territory on the Eastern Landmass of Pater. Comprising of mostly unified warbands and smaller towns, there is no major capital of the Wilds, but rather one large city state comprising of hundreds of smaller settlements bound together. The city is simply known as "The Centre".

The Centre

an enormous collection of tents, temporary housing and smaller permanent structures, the Centre sits firmly near the South Western plains of the Wilds. The city originated from a small collection of tents that evolved over several decades to a more permanent settlement. Many of the structures in the centre are still tents, that are now reinforced or upgraded, but there are some structures that are more permanent, such as taverns, inns, and some churches. The Centre is shaped like a giant circle that is layered into sections based on the age of the area. The Core, The First Layer, the Second Layer, the Outer Layer, and the Skirts.

The Core

The Core is the central hub of the Centre. Inside here is the main administrative zones, as well as some central military and security areas. The residence of the Lord of Blades is located here, as well as the remainder of his clan, and his main trusted allies. The Core is surrounded by a huge concrete wall.

The First Layer

The first layer is made up of the first additional settlers to join in the original location. Many of these families are guild owners, and senior members of the military. The first layer is surrounded by a smaller concrete wall.

The Second Layer

This layer is comprised of the second set of settlers that joined the location. this is the largest layer in the Centre. A huge amount of these settlers are hunters, labourers and trademen and members of each guild that operates outside of the main city. The second layer is surrounded by a palisade wall.

The Skirts

The Skirts are comprised of new and fresh settlers. It is up to the members of this area of the city to create their own houses, and eventually build up the trust to be considered major members of the main city itself. Many of these citizens are considered "outsiders" and are mostly low tiered hunters, mercenaries, refugees and potential settlers and merchants.

Outside the Centre

Most of the Wilds are just that. Untamed and Wild. The majority of the nation is made up of incredicly dry and arid farmland, occasionally darkened and rotten forests, and off to the West, the Fallen Kingdom of Draconia.

Draconia

Most of Draconia is scattered to the wind, following the War of Life and Death, as many of the men in the clans went to fight on during the Last Stand of the Dragons. Unfornately, the area was left undefended following the losses, and the majority of the territory was either lost to raiding, or left in ruin. Now the once great nation of Draconia, lies in ruin, and is comprised of tribal and "primitive" settlements, forcing most of the Dragonborn there to enlist in the various services of the Warbands surrounding the Wilds. There is however a legend that keeps circulating, about an old Gate of the Fay that leads to an old lost city, known as Cyre. Many of the texts and records of this was lost throughout the age, and many of the Dragonborn are waiting for some kind of Chosen one to try and reunite them with their ancient homeland.

The Warlords

Many of the Warlords within the Wilds pay tribute to the Centre, and to the Lord of Blades. Most of the conflicts within the Wilds and internal, between warring lords, who are seeking gold, glory, land, or work. Occasionally the Lord of Blades will call upon all Warlords to fulfil their oath and fight in a conflict on behalf of the wilds, but since the "Cold War" with Terrania has died down, neither side are interested in border expansion at the moment, leaving them to fend for themselves within the territories, often relying on self sustenence on the land, or running security for trading convoys outside of the territory.   Economy   Much of the economy inside the Wilds is supported by the mining camps off to the East in the mountains. These mines work with the Dwarves to excavate and mine, Gold, Stone, and various precious metals. These are mostly exported to Manu Matuhake, though some are kept for manufacturing within the Centre itself.
