Baroness Gildrane Fafro (a.k.a. Gilly (pronounced soft g) the Dragonslayer)

Daughter of War

Gildrane Fafro was one of the best glide-flyer pilots in the entire War of Calamities and the only living person to ever slay a dragon. She slew the dragon Furthrwa during the Battle of Six Dragons when the dragon manifested forward in time to annul the two dragonmarks. As a Vrornholder she fought on the side of Emperor Gustenvrorfer III.

Effects of notoriety

One does not slay a nay unstoppable, godlike creature and walk away unnoticed, much to Gildrane's chagrin. A shy person who dislikes fuss to an almost zealous level, she is at her wits end dealing with yellow journalists and tabloid writers. Perhaps because of this she has left on an expedition to the Quacking isles within the Quacking Sea, beyond the Great Western Temporal Manifest Zone.
