Druids of the Everburn

In death, life can be reborn. In flame, renewal.   These are the words murmured by the Everburning; a wandering nomadic group of druids, though they seem to have a loose understanding of this term. This band, comprised mostly of humans, elves and genasi, has roamed the world from sea to sea, collecting followers from across Atlamoria. Their mission is simple - the world must be purged in flame, so that Ursora; God of The Sun can remake Aloreon in its purest form.   Led by Fandral Embersun; Druids of The Everburning, a wizened and powerful old wood elf whose eyes burn a deep amber orange, they burn anything in their path, be it villages or forests or groves. They stray far from proper civilization, where the local populace might rise up and combat them, preferring to prey on the weak and helpless. The Everburning have no consideration for those they may harm, and the lives and homes they may destroy. Anyone, any race, and any structure in their way is considered an affront to Ursora; God of The Sun and must be burned, so by the ashes their God may renew all.   They despise the darkness and the shadowed, preferring to dwell in the harsh light of day. Their beliefs hold that if Ursora; God of The Sun becomes powerful enough, He may finally slay His sister, Aeola; Goddess of The Moon and brighten the world with everlasting sunshine.   The order is specialized into three main branches: the Flamebenders, trained sorcerers skilled in calling down destruction and death. Ashen Mystics, who can call on their God to cauterize wounds and heal the devoted few who fall in His service, and Molten Reavers, powerful front-line fighters who seem to surge with lava and burn their enemies up-close. If they choose to take animal forms, as was traditional of their druidic heritage, their forms are twisted and corrupted; their bodies emanating heat, the smell of char permeating from hides and furs, smoke rising from their bodies, burned footsteps singeing the grass behind them as they tread.    Nature itself seems to sense the presence of the Everburning when near. Animals naturally flee from the vicinity, as if sensing the danger and destruction they bring. Birdsong dies on the wind. The trees seem to silence their rustling and flowers curl back in on themselves. The air gets warm as they draw close. The world stills, as if to try and not draw the attention of the wandering nomads, though if they locate a potential target, Archdruid Fandral Embersun; Druids of The Everburning is seen to offer a prayer to the Heavens - if the skies are clear and the sun is shining, it is a sure sign from Ursora; God of The Sun that their task is blessed that day. If the clouds obscure their God's eye, then He is not with them that day, and their target breaths a sigh of relief at being permitted to see another sunrise.
