The life in the dream world wasn't so exiting for Saelik. The Leprechaun was bored of his life and decided to travel the dream world in search of something to do. He stumbled by mistakes on a human town. Fairy folks tend to move away from human settlement because their spirit can enter the dream world while they sleep and this is not safe for the fairies. Fortunately, Saelik knew a couple of spells to ensure he wouldn't become a target. He discovered that he could see what every humans was dreaming of. He slowly revealed himself to some of them. Helping children overcome their nightmares. Talking to those in needs. He soon realized that people were open to telling him all their secrets, because they thought he was real. He started exploiting this. Before long, he knew some of the best kept secret this town had. Secrets became a drug for him, he needed more.

He moved to other towns and repeated the same pattern. The more juicy the secret was, the most euphoric he would feel. Unfortunately for him, he started to stumble on dark secrets that you shouldn't know about. The thing is, people were not only telling him their secrets, they were dreaming them. He saw stuff that damaged him for good. He became darker on the inside. He couldn't stay silent with those secrets, but he knew if he revealed them he would loose a part of himself, a part of his power. So he did the next thing he had the power to do. He trapped them in their own dreams, they would be stuck in the night forever. It is only after this last step in his journey that he was promoted to demi god of Secrets and the Night.
