Avatar : Gobelin Garde serrure niveau 80 On the continent of Efia, named by the Halflings in their earliest days, the halflings tribes were stagnating since a while. Between the frequent conflict against the beastman and the roaming packs of dinosaur frequently roaming their territory slaughtering the halflings by dozen. They were slowly, but surely going toward extinction. A young Koyarath named Raek was living as a hunter in the forest. Most of his brothers and sisters had died, not only from the frequent attacks, but also from disease and malnutrition. Raek was a smart man. He devised a plan to protect a small pond from the dinosaur and secure it for his tribes. He worked many days on his plan, until finally it was complete. He had created a small structure around the pond, preventing any animals leaving it from coming back if they were too big. The structure wasn't perfect, since some predators could still get through by aerial means. But the pond was far less dangerous now than it was before. He was celebrated by his tribe and he gained much respect for his intelligence and determination.
Inspired by this success, he had the idea to built a similar device, but instead of trapping the animals out, it would trap them inside the structure. The new construction was a great success. At first it was used as hunting spots in the forest, but soon enough, many predators were stuck in the contraption. The flesh of these beast was not the finest. So instead of killing those dinosaur, he tried to domesticate them. After a couple of months, many dinosaur were more friendly towards him. In the following years he began a process of selective breeding, keeping the less aggressive beast, allowing them to breed. Rewarding the more loyal of them and punishing loners. Soon enough, he had the perfect hunting pack. The dinosaur were not only used for hunting, but also protecting them from the savage dinosaur attacking their tribes and the beast were intelligent enough to learn a few tricks.
In the meantime he was training his new pack of dinosaur, Raek was trying to find a solution to the flying menace over the ponds. This is when he had another idea for a new contraption. He installed pikes into the pond, preventing anything flying to come into the pond. The pond was secure once more. Unfortunately, the population of the tribe was getting bigger because the area was safer and the pond was getting smaller as it was unable to replenish itself fast enough. Raek devised a plan to bring more water from the mountain to feed the pond. After many test, he came up with a solution. A series of carved rocks would bring the water from the mountain to the forest, he would create an artificial river. He would call this invention an aqueduct. After another couple years, his aqueduct was complete. It was a lot bigger than he had anticipated, and the water was plentiful. Causing a very abundant region. Many tribes tried to take it by force, but Raek had made many friends with his inventions over the years. Each time they were attacked, they sent the dinosaurs after the attackers and pursued the survivors. Most of the tribes of the Koyarath allied with him over the years. By his sheer intellect, he brought his almost instinct tribe to the most powerful one in the forest. Before long, he was the most revered Engineer and the wealthiest man around. He would become the first demi god of Invention and Wealth. His tribes prospered for many years after his ascension to godhood.
