Poisons were a big thing in the early days of Almilir. But with the advance in magic healing it became a worthless tool. A woman named Haralle was fascinated by them. It was seen has a harmless hobby since you just had to go to the temple and get yourself fixed by the priest. Haralle was a woman of many talents, a spellcaster, researcher and inventor. Unfortunately for her, the poison business was seen as child play and she was always ridiculed by the others. Educated and non educated people would regularly pick on her. She somehow stumbled on a way to enhance the mundane natural poisons with magic. The now living poisons would act more like a disease and secrete an incurable poison into it's victims. At first she tough about gaining the respect of her colleague and the population, but an incident in her lab convince her to do otherwise.
In order to have her work reviewed, she invited the committee to a demonstration. The jury was not impressed and made remarks about this work being out date and old school. She wanted to show them how relevant poisons still were and decided to teach them a lesson send her disease onto one of the judge. The judge fell greatly hill in the following days and slowly the disease spread to the other member of the committee. She was not just creating it, she was somehow controlling it. In the following years she worked to improve her findings. Each time testing on the townsfolk that were ridiculing her. She finally created a powerful magitech capable to send her disease to whoever she felt like killing.
Soon, she was selling her service as the perfect killer. The disease was known as the Haralle's disease and no one was making fun of her anymore. Authorities were too scare to arrest her and these were more hearsay, as nothing could be proven to come from her. It took several years of research to be able to counter the effect of this magitech. A cure was found, but after Haralle had ascended to become demi god of Murder and Disease.
