Dawn Lake
A large beautiful lake that seems to always sparkle with early morning light. On the edges of this grand lake rests Echo City.
Geography
This lake is one of the biggest in Allotail. It is nearly impossible to cross it without assistance of a boat or a race attuned for aquatic life. This lake is abundant in natural life and has plentiful cave systems underneath the banks.
The main attraction of this lake is the water's golden color. People aren't fully sure what causes the water's golden color, but it is always crystal clear. This gives rise to sight seeing of the flora and fauna that live within the lake. However the main sight to see is the statue within the lake. No one has a clear story on how the statue got inside the lake, but they all agree that it is life like. The statue itself depicts a whale, which looks almost like it could rise from the lake floor and swim itself.
The water is so crystal clear that it often gives an illusion that Dawn Lake is shallower than it truly is. This lake is extremely deep, a very dangerous factor about it. Many have drowned over estimating the strength of the waters. However, Dawn Lake has gained a good guard system to help prevent drowning.
The area around the lake is lush with long grasses. The lake is centered within the Echo Plains, so it is bountiful with its grasses and shrubs.
Fauna & Flora
Dawn Lake is home to a variety of fishes and aquatic plants. The tunnels and caves within the banks of the shore stretch to the Deadberry River and even to the ocean. It is not surprising for locals to spot the occasional shark fin in the golden waters. The giant koi fish in the waters tend to be a main attraction that people come to visit.
