Provinces

Alimaea has a long and rich history, with vast amounts of bloodshed, victory, and claiming of land, especially during the Second Age. Now however, as things have settled down, it's less common to feud over land, especially on the world stage, and most areas are content with the way things are. The people appointed leaders, or they appointed themselves, and divided the land into areas to rule, giving a sense of finality to the way borders would lie. Finally, the world is at peace, at least for now.
