Bellmere
Being the most populated city in Alimaea, people can often feel cramped on the main roads, although the smaller roads and back alleys are a great way to get around, and are rarely crowded. The well-kept roads and homes really help the city maintain it's regal reputation, and travelers are often seen in and around the city, hoping some of the wealth might find it's way into their pockets.
Infrastructure
Every road in Bellmere is kept as neat as possible. The cobblestone is replaced whenever it begins to crack, sweepers come by regularly to pick up trash or dirt that begins to accumulate. The shipyard is no exception. Surprisingly, it's kept fairly clean, as to minimize disease that would come from rat stowaways. The most modern invention though, the sewer system, helps make the whole city cleaner. It keeps the worst of what humans do out of the streets and out of people's homes.
