Amberwood

Amberwood is the city of Magic. From it's numerous coffee shops to it's large libraries, bookstores, and markets with ingredients, in addition to the biggest magic school, it gets its title for a good reason.   From a mile away you can feel the magic in your veins. The slight tingle enhancing your own magic. Amberwood was built in an area blessed with higher magic content, seen in the trees sculpted out of amber around, in addition to large amounts of amber buried in the mountain believed to be a huge ancient tree long since turned to stone.   Amberwood hosts the Academy both Francis, and Olive Fitzwater attended, the two strongest Wizards in the world, making it an incredibly popular stop for all learning advanced magic. Due to Francis and Olive having similar styles of clothes, the style has picked up upon newer wizards as well, some shops have opened to exclusively sell clothes in a similar style to them.   Of course, Amberwood hosts the weirdness of Wizards much like Francis and Olive. It has spires of many colours, at night it is lit up with lights often reflecting through the spires of glass, giving the city at night beautiful kaleidoscope colours. Not to mention Wizards constantly hustling below and above, although this does cool off a little at night. Anything extravagant fits right in at Amberwood. Large hats to randomly coloured hair, and moving tattoos are all normal sights. Animal familiars paying for their owners goods is also not uncommon, although rarer.   Truly, this city is marvellous for magic users, and tourists alike, not to mention the silly spells originating from here, like the magical graffiti that only shows up to some people, or changes depending on who's looking.   This city is impressive in both it's magic, and its low crime rates.
