Ruining of Karmagryl

Military action

4088
14/9

On the 14th of Skyrot, 4088, thousands of Orcs, commanded by the War Chief Borkokk swept through the dwarven kingdom of Karmagryl, thirsty for bloodshed.

In those dark days I wondered if the dwarven race as a whole would survive. Perhaps the entire world would fall to these savage beasts. Fires rage across my home and I clung to the happy thoughts that I could lead a good life. That was before they killed my wife.
- Grasim Goldfury, who led the rebellion at Vil Buldar   In the early hours of the morning on the 11th of Skyrot, Chief Borkokk of the Unzaka tribe, gathered together leaders of many other tribes in the area. Motivated by the thought of the dwarven scum being crushed under the supreme might of the orcs, they struck first at the dwarven capital High Silvararch and spread outwards, ultimately killing over 200,000 dwarves at least. By the end of the year, all of the major dwarven settlements in the area, including the legendary Vil Buldar , were destroyed.   Legends speak of a final rebellion, a last stand against the orcs, that took place in Vil Buldar. The remaining dwarves that had survived the destruction gathered, clinging on to a final hope that they could keep their beloved home. Sadly, this resulted in a catastrophic failure and the orcs just becoming more bloodthirsty and eager for battles still to come. The remaining dwarves, determined to thrive and continue the legacy of their people, formed Mendor, a town to continue the history of the dwarves.
