Disaster struck in 2262, when a storm began that wiped out almost all of the human race and even some gods.

At 7:01, 23rd Rainfall 2262, winds became large enough to destroy civilisations and even move the continents. Nobody knows how this ancient disaster happened, but plenty have theories. It began with the Winds in 2262. gales and storms swept through the lands in early Midwinter and soon grew into storms on a massive scale. Then came the Drought, when food and water was hoarded by the rich that survived the Winds and almost nobody below the rank of noble or aristocrat had enough to survive. Last was a Flood like no other, drowning the continents. When the last survivors touched land in 2263, the world was a changed place.
