Dark Elves

The evil drow, worshippers of the demon queen of spiders Lolth and slavers of the surface world, live in the Underdark - a network of caverns far beneath the surface world. They are universally hated and to most people demon-worshipping marauders, emerging from the deep only to slaughter those who live on the surface world.

Appearance

Drow have white hair and black to purple skin, and have pale-coloured eyes.

Traits

You can use these traits for dark elves in Alehath, instead of the subrace traits in the official rules sources.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Dark Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the Hand Crossbow, Rapier, and Longsword. You can use a longsword as if it had the Finesse property.
Dark Elf Magic. You know the Minor Illusion cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast Disguise Self once with this trait, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast Invisibility once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Civilization and Culture

History

The drow were once a world-wide group of high elves in a cult. When it was found that they worshipped the spider goddess Lolth, the elves waged a war on them and eventually forced them underground. The dark elves adapted to the change, becoming sensitive to sunlight and with their superior sunlight.
