The Clamshell Keg

The Clamshell Keg is a large tavern along the docks of Port Sol. The outside is pretty generic having an elevated cobble foundation with large wooden pillars along the outside walls and holding up the second floor at the front with overhangs the entrance. There is a large keg shaped sign outside with the tavern's name on it. As for the inside to the left is a long bar with multiple kegs on the back counter filled with different drinks, as well as a couple shelfs with tankards and cups. At the far end is a door and portal window that connects the kitchen to the bar so the platters can be collected quickly for serving. In the far left corner of the bar is a staircase that leads up to the second floor. The rest of the first floor is filled with about 10 tables and about 6 private booths. The place could probably hold about 40 customers on a busy night. THe Clamshell Keg is owned by Annestarlix (Anne) Shellkeg. Built specifically here to serve the hard workers of Port Sol after a hard days work allowing them to purchase a variety of craft beers and ales. Due to the sheer size of the establishment she requires four waitresses and two barkeeps. On some evenings they serve meals, mostly good meats, seafood, sometimes breads from a local bakery. There is a kitchen to cook in if customers do in fact feel peckish. The portal window connects the kitchen to the bar so waiters can access the platters quickly for serving.

Together the group seems like a jumbled group of people, but at heart they look out for each other. In terms of attire the Twins wear sleek shirts with a vest and tie. The waitresses wear a long dull turquoise dress with a navy blue half-sleeved shirt and a white apron. While Anne being the manager oddly wears brown leather pants, black boots and a red long sleeve tunic. Something that ties in the uniform here is that each staff member ears a gold earring on their left year, a simple loop ring.

Annestarlix Shellkeg

Annestarlix Shellkeg also known as Anne to her regular customers, friends and family. A averagely sized human in her late 30's, well toned muscles making her the taverns best bouncer, her sleek black hair constantly tied in a messy bun. She manages the Tavern herself, living above the Tavern on the second floor. She is extremely strict when it comes to bar fights, any trouble and you get kicked out. Though she does allow a few gambling games and even hosts a couple herself to make a few extra coins for the establishment. Though she seems rough and looks like she could beat the snot out of someone far bigger than her she is actually quite the friendly person, her bright green eyes gleaming with experience and a hint of mischief, course you can always see her smiling as she walks around the tavern chatting with customers.

The Hertlin Twins

The Barkeepers James and Jaymz Hertlin are twin half-orcs looking almost identical to each other. Both have a dark moss green complexion with dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. The telling difference is James is about a foot taller than Jaymz who is around 6ft tall. Although Jaymz' tusks are a bit larger than his brothers. James also tends to put his hair in a ponytail while Jaymz keeps his hair short and easy to manage. Usually the two of them are pretty quite and tend to only speak to each other or when conversation is needed. They tend to not concern themselves with the lives of customers unless they cause trouble or treat the waitresses poorly. Though they are able to delicately work the bar they are also former soldiers of the Emeraldite crusaders , therefore also work as security keeping their weapons concealed under the bar. While James prefers the weight and sharpness of his greataxe, Jaymz prefers the simple crossbow. Thankfully they tend to not need it.

Talia Copperdele

The Waitresses on the other hand are an interesting bunch. Talia, the most experienced of the four, is a gorgeous young elf girl fresh out of her first century and has been working with Annestarlix since she opened the tavern. Her complexion is a bit on the darker side as she is a wood elf. Her hair almost matching her skin tone but gives off more of a copper coloration to it. While Annestralix is away Talia usually takes over the tavern and runs it quite well according to herself. Talia also takes care of training new waitresses when the need arises. In comparison to Annestarlix, Talia is a bit more head strong and is not very lenient.

Leandra DawnHeled

Then there is Leandra, a young half elf girl in her early 20's which is the cusp of adulthood for Half-Elves. Her stature is finds her to be about 5' 4". Though short compared to the rest of the staff her bright personality and red hair makes her stand out quite a bit. Her friendly face and beautiful orange/gold eyes makes her quite the favorite among the sailors and dock workers. She's also one of the few people to be able to have a full on conversation with the Hertlin Twins. She is a fantastic waitress though she tends to get sidetracked with conversing with both customers and the other staff members, leading her to be scolded by Talia quite frequently.

Sarina Drachodin

Sarina, a 35 year old dragonborn being taller than the Hertlin twins by about 3inches, usually runs the kitchen when meals are being served. Though beautiful with her dark emerald eyes, copper-green scaled skin and blue tentacle-esque hair, she tends to be gruff and to the point. This isn't the best trait for a waitress, regardless her cooking skills are actually quite incredible. She tends to keep to herself and doesn't really seem to have a social life. However she seems to have taken a liking to the new waiter Ritala

Ritala Underhem

The latest edition to the Clamshell Keg tavern is a young human girl by the name Ritala. Similarly to Leandra she has aspects that also make her stand out. Her dirty blonde hair, bright brown eyes and timid personality has made her quite the center of attention during her first month of work. Thanks to the help of Talia she has shown some potential. During an evening rush Ritala accidentally spilled, this caused a scene. The customers began hurling insults at the young waitress, at the time Anne was out and Talia was in the back. Thankfully Sarina was nearby, she inserted herself into the situation which caught the rowdy men off guard. They quickly changed their tune, paid for their drinks and left in a hurry. After this Sarina and Ritala became quite close. Soon after another incident occurred, on her way home Ritalla was taken into an alleyway by some thugs who threatened to kill her unless she gave them her money. Coincidentally Leandra spotted this as she left the tavern, she quickly got the Hertlin brothers who grabbed their weapons and delt with the situation before the thugs could hurt their new colleague.
