Ludenmor

Over View

The Mountainous City to the West of the Capitol City, Ee-jin Valley, the City of Ludenmor was built on the plateau's of the mountains spanning multiple levels and is the 2nd largest city on the continent. The city is comprised of four separate mountains each connected through large stone arch bridges with steal supports. Each of the three mountains contains a semi-district of the City. Specifically the Residential district, business district and then the Military Prison district.
In order to traverse the levels of each plateau there tends to be multiple set's of stairs across the districts. The City also houses the largest and most secure prison on the Continent, holding all sorts of ruffians, criminals, gangs, murders, rapists, con artists and crazy experimental Scientists. Because of this there is a larger presence of the law than in the Capital itself, additionally there is almost zero crime in this city besides maybe pickpockets and petty thieves. ---------

City Districts

Hillview Peak The richer residential area of the City, sitting atop the tallest of the city's plateaus. The massive houses are stacked atop one another and are built into the mountain side like a colorful but harmonious jigsaw of buildings and weaving stone pathways that wrap around the mountain.
  The Undergarden
The Center levels of the residential district where majority of the homes are built into the side of the mountain face or are inside the large dome within the mountain, a literal cave filled with raised walkways and bridges creating an intricate network of connected homes, taverns, bars and small convenient stores in an underground paradise lit by the windowed holes on the edges of the caves, the massive lanterns that hang from the ceilings as well as the arcane fairy lights the line the trees and gardens of the area. This area is more common with the a comfortable standard of living.
  The Roots
The lowest levels of the residential area, filled with small rock outcrops and rooms that house the poorest of the city, unlike the upper levels these places are connected by shabby, but functional, wooden bridges, scaffolding and pathways. Not many folk venture this far besides the shady groups, gangs, the poor and the odd adventurer and group of military soldiers from time to time. ---
  The Prison Plateau
The widest of the three mountains that make up the city of Ludenmor, The Prison Plateau creates not only the foundation of Azkodorn Prison but it has the secondary purpose of being a stone mine to supply building companies with stone related materials. The Prison makes up the perimeter of the plateau, consisting of four levels each created from Strong Metals and solid stone, while the center of the prison became the mining pit filled with cranes and basic mining tools. Due to the City having an entire mountain dedicated to the prison there is a higher presence from the Military not only within the Prison itself but across the whole city.
Connecting the Prison Plateau to the Strato-Spire are wide arch bridges made of steal and cobbled stone. ---
  The Strato-Spire
One of the two commercial districts of the city, both of which are much smaller than the other two plateaus. The Strato-Spire has less buildings and shops and is more of a massive market place, vendors set up shop selling all sorts of things from fruits to vegetables, sweets to toys, leather wears to crafted jewelry, Colorful bouquets of flowers to traditional hand made clothing. There are a handful of establishments that are built into some risen parts of the mountain as well as one or two taverns or hotels, however for the most part it is all just street vendors.
The Strato-Spire also holds what is known as "The Serpent's Trail", a wide well constructed path that winds between the four mountains and connects the City to the land below. This makes business quite profitable as all who enter the city find themselves within the market. The Strato-Spire is connected to all three other mountains by large wide bridges made of steal or stone, or even a combination of both.
  Tradak Flats
The second of the two commercial districts of the City, connected to The Strato-Spire and the Residential District, The Tradak flats is a more permanent and solid shopping area, selling more long term products such as armor and adventuring supplies for the military and odd party of adventurers. Alternatively things like cleaning and gardening supplies or furniture tend to be sold here. The Tradak Flats also has it's own fair share of bars, taverns, inventors and artisans, especially those who are apart of the local Artisan Guild, EverDale Crafters. This district also holds various services such as schools, postal businesses and information brokers. There of course is also a couple temples as well as a branch of the Clinnikan Analysta. ---------

City Interests

Azkodorn Prison The highly secure prison situated on the Prison Plateau, this mult-leveled structure of reinforced steal and solid stone hold the country's most despicable criminals, murderers, serial killers, cultists, Mad arcane practitioners and more. However those morbid men and women are held in the lower levels of the Prison, they are the inmates that are seldomly allowed to leave their cells. Those who are in the upper levels are mere pickpockets, petty thieves and con-artists.
The inmates that are in fact allowed to leave their cells are put to work in the prison's Stone mines which lay at the Center of the building, the pit descends far into the mountain lit only by lanterns and candles, the tools down here are primitive and inmates are always under supervision. While it is typical for prisoners to be treated badly, the prisoners of Azkodorn are treated with respect to a degree, the officers of the prison are not there to make friends with them nor are they posted there to make their lives a living hell, they are merely responsible for keeping the peace and making sure they live out their sentences.
Azkodorn Prison is manned with about 500 or so guards that rotate shift so that there are about 250 guards on duty at all times. Every Month all guards are rotated out of the Prison with fresh new guards straight from the Capitol, this way they are not over worked. ---

The Building his 3 storey's tall, the First floor being a library and bookshop for the public, the second floor being only available to those with authority and permission. The third floor is a shrine and sort of temple for the Masked Scribe, Arcadiumn, not as impressive as the one in Ee-jin Valley but still quite an impressive place. ---
