Facterra District

The Tinkering Lab
A small temple of the Cosmic Tinkerer Treydin, nobody stays here or is specifically placed here to take care of the place. Everyone working in the facterra district all pitch in to keep it a clean place and many use it to brain storm ideas or those who are religious prey for strength in the making of their creations or at work during the day.

Ee-jin Power Plant The Ee-jin Valley Power Plant is a building built by the Tinkerer's Construct Corp and is first of it's kind in the World of Alderfey. The building combines hydro-pumps and arcane powered machinery to create electricity and distribute it across the City.
However the Building is actually owned by the Government, The Dorin Dominion, who funds its operation. Course T.C.C does maintenance and taught the workers there how to operate the place. The Power Plant has been running for the past 13 years with a few minor issues and repairs, however for the last 3 years it hasn't had an issue at all.

Birchlin Industries Birchlin Industries is a Massive Log Industry that specializes in Wood products, from furniture to construction material, wood processing. They are one of the three biggest companies that work out of the Facterra district. They import their wood supplies from their logging facility East of the city which is brought in by a tram delivery system. The tree felling is done by lumberjacks, consisting of mostly Goliaths, Dwarves, Orcs and Lizardfolk who tend to be a bit more stronger than most other races. They tend to the trees whilst they're growing removing previous tree trunks before the next planting, they harvest them when ready and remove the unneeded branches, separating them before loading everything onto the tram.
The tram takes about an hour to travel between the logging facility and the Factory, once there it is quickly unloaded by machines and sent back to the logging facility driven by certified engineers.
After being unloaded the trunks are stripped of bark and cut to be sold to construction companies, interior decorators or wood carvers. The Branches are milled into pulp in order to make paper based products, finally the chemicals and fiber are sold as a by product to other companies in order to make things like twine, tar, plastic, explosives and tape.
Birchlin Industrides is owned and run by the Berlich Family, consisting of 7 members, a family of Halflings. Head of the house Cedaro Belich(72, named after Cedar trees) and his wife Juniper Belich(70, renamed after juniper trees), their son, Hickory Belich(45, named after Hickory trees) and his wife Elma Belich(39, renamed after Elma trees) along with their two kids, Mable(16, named after Maple trees) and Syka (10, named after sycamore trees). And finally there's Hickory's younger brother Bucky Birlich(40, named after Buckeye trees)
The family has been running the industry for about 94 years through 3 generations, it was started by Cedaro's father, Basil(named after Basswood trees), becoming a major part of building the Capital.
  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tinkerer's Construct Corporation Another of the Three dominating Companies of the Facterra District, Owned by a family of gnomes, The Stumbleluck's. The Company has monopolized the gadgetry and mechanics Industry for years, and can be considered the spine of Lexitrove's technological advancements and growth. The Corporation share the Tram Station with Birchlin Industries in order to import minerals from a mining settlement not far from the City which is run by the Oongard's, a clan of Mountain dwarves. They supply the Stumbleluck's with quite a variety of minerals and in return are compensated with a good amount of supplies each month for the entire clan which consists of about 100 to 125 members. Supplies can consist of construction materials for repairs, food, booze, mining supplies and weapons to defend against mountain beasts. Overall the relationship between these two factions are quite solid.
Within the Corporation grounds there are a few small warehouses to store raw materials, processed materials and finished goods. The raw materials that arrive on the tram are moved in large crates ,by a trio of friendly Stone Giants, to the first warehouse. Kyle, Gyle and Belial are three brothers who asked for work in return for a little bit of tutor-ledge and a better quality of living. The stumblelucks agreed , but made sure to not hold them under a contract as to not confine these giants so every other week they make the trek to the city to stay for a week or two to work, learn a few new things and then return home. Whilst not on duty there are cranes which move the mineral crates to the first warehouse.
From there they are moved to the smeltery where the minerals are separated into different kinds of ore to then be melted into metals. Once melted they are cast into metal ingots and stored in the second warehouse. This process is mostly done by steam and a bit of arcane powered machinery, however there are maintenance worker's who keep an eye on things.
After the smelting process is complete the ingots are moved to the metal-works where they are processed into different products, from simple things such as tools and metal fencing to larger things such as parts for a mechanical crane or mechanical tools such as wood saws or drills. However while a factory is meant to produce things at a high rate, the Tinkerers Construct Corporation only produces about 10-15 large machines a year, and about 50-60 smaller metal products a year.
This is due to an idea given by the CEO of the Corporation, Jebeddo Stumbleluck; "in limiting the amount of things produced they can be certain that the quality of their products are indeed the best. This also gives us time to take on private contracts and orders from the more wealthier organisations or to even spend some of our materials on inventing new things to make our world easier, we are after all- Tinkerers"

  Phosphorus Constructors
Phosphorus Constructors is the Third company of the Big Three in the Facterra District, these guys specialize in Construction and Repair, additionally they are responsible for the construction of almost every building in Ee-jin Valley. The Company is owned by Gregorio Denrock, a Stocky Half-Orc. He Himself has been responsible for building a few building in the city, BY HIMSELF. Although he is the owner of the company, he doesn't treat his employees with disrespect or like they are below him, he also dresses as he likes, non of that super fancy outfits the royals wear.
Phosphorus Constructors creates and produces blueprints for clients and the government, primarily building out of stone, Wood and steel. However if other materials can be acquired as wished by the client or designer then they will build out of that. They are known to work quickly and depending on the size of the building it can even be finished within a day with the teams of workers.
Majority of their supplies and tools is kept either on site or at the factory, and things get tricky when they need to construct building with custom made structural braces and rafters as those have to me made at the factory then delivered to the construction site and that can be a bit off an issue with the layout of the City.
The work Force mostly consists of stocky and well built Goliaths, Half-Orcs, Dragonborn and even the odd dwarf or two. The company has worked in conjunction with both Birchlin Industries for wood supplies and Tinkerers Construct Corp. for technical aspects to some buildings, especially with piping, electricals and things of the arcane. ==================================================================
