Ee-jin Valley

CITY

Ee-jin Valley is the capital city of The lexitrove Contient and the main trading port in the south East part of Alderfey. The vibe in the city is very much Industrial revolution style as most buildings have pipes sticking out of them, steam emitting out of them too, there are lights powered by electricity - very primitive though, It is actually quite beautiful.
The Eastern Port, Port Sol allows short term trading. Only cargo vessels and Commercial Vessels are allowed to dock here and must leave after a full 24hours. This allows a quick income of goods and tourists preventing a blockade of incoming vessels. The Port itself can house twenty vessels at a time allowing around 40 vessels to pass through per day. The Emeraldite Crusaders have a strong presence in both ports in order to keep track of those entering the Continent. Many goods pass through Port Sol, most of it comes from the De-Kallio Archipelago in order to be processed by the merchant guilds, crafted into sellable goods and then transported to Belnezia. There of course goods that are imported from Belnezia as well, mostly minerals, weapons and of course tourists. Most of the buildings in Port Sol are warehouses, merchant guilds, factories that are owned by said merchant guilds. However along the outskirts of this side of the City lies small residential areas as well as the Emeraldite Crusaders Barracks and training grounds.
Connecting Port Sol and Port Luna are the Port Bridges. Two Arching bridges that are build on the entrance and exit to the City allowing people to cross the Bengile River over to each port.
Port Luna, being the Western Port, allows up to fifty vessels to dock at a time, each ship port can be bought out for a certain period of time depending on the purpose of the sailors needs, be it resupplying and ship repairs or the ship may belong to a political figure who will be staying in the City for a certain amount of time. There is however 5 docking ports that are owned by the Port Luna Ship Yards, who use these docking area's to build and release ships into the river. Port Luna holds the Cities residential area, market districts as well as the Dominon Court House. The city itself is mostly busy during the early hours of the morning as workers cross the Port Bridges to get to work either to go work at the Docks of Port Sol or to open up their shops in the market area's of Port Luna.
With the Dorin Dominon in charge there has been an increase in the Continents standard of living and a low poverty rating. In fact many people have stated that this country is one of the best places to live in in this world. Course many people are still skeptical of this. There's no such thing as a perfect place to live, there is usually always a catch or the ideal of it doesn't last very long, what dark secrets could this country be hiding from the public.

CITIZENS

The Population of Ee-jin Valley is around 3000, due to the tropical climate of this part of the world the city is home to many races that live somewhat peacefully. Commonly you'll find; Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Dragonborn, Goliaths, Half-Orcs and Elves . A bit more scarce but still present are Tabaxi, Genasi, Firbolgs, Tieflings, halflings and then your Half-Elf varieties.
With the varied racial populace in mind it is quite common for there to be racial disputes, gangs and communities. This is just the norm for this city. The Residential Area's on the out skirts of Port Sol are mostly comprised of the poorer folk. Meanwhile its more common to find the upper class within Port Luna, where surprisingly you'll be more likely to find Humans and Elves.
  ------------------
  Solis City
Although the City is said to be split into two ports, Each part of town has other names and then smaller districts to define certain areas. The Eastern Half of Ee-jin Valley is more commonly known as Solis City. The City is then broken up into 5 suburbs.
Port Sol, which is the port area of the City, holds the many Warehouses and Small Dockside shops as well as some well known Bars and Taverns.
Facterra, is the Industrial District in the North east of Solis which holds many of the large scale metal Works, Blacksmiths, Scrap Yards. This Place is largely run by Gnomes, Dwarves and Halflings. Its also and easily distinguishable are having a few smoke stacks as well as many mechanical and steampunk style machines protruding from the factory, to say the least this district is extremely loud.
Glenlin Cross is the residential area that that covers most of the South east area of Solis, its surprisingly quite the well kept area considering that it's said the poorer folk live here, the houses here though seeming somewhat small are all two stories tall, and also are setup in a way that each plot seems to hold about six houses as well as a greenhouse.
Kelrik Market is the shopping area of Solis which lies in the near the Center of the City. Its not really that big comprising of about 20 or so shops that create a sort of town center where a daily market stands. The shops are more formal and sell the more practical things such as baked goods, furniture, clothing, Meats, gardening supplies and more. There are also Shops that sell services such as a barbershop, tattoo parlor, carpentry, repair store. Meanwhile the market tends to sell things more along the lines of trinkets, toys, fruit, etc. The more cheaper things.
Darrigon Alley is not necessarily a district but is still a named area as it tends to sell the more pricy rarities, mostly magic and weapon related things as this place is also home to the WillowWind Guild, a guild for new adventurers to take on jobs, bounties etc, and collect rewards. So the shops around the area are more directed at these kinds of customers.
Finally there is the Barrakon District, which houses the Barracks, training grounds and other military requirements for the Emeradite Crusaders. The public tend to steer clear of this area as they are known to not be the most pleasant of people, with a few rare exceptions. The Barracks houses around 200 - 300 troops that distribute themselves throughout the Capitol, it also hold a few offices for higher ups.
  ----------------
  Luna-row City
On the West side of Ee-jin Valley we have Luna-row City, which is the more prominent and richer side of the Capitol. Luna-row is split into 6 suburbs.
Port Luna is the waterfront of the City, which has store houses unlike Port Sol which has Warehouses. It also encloses the Shipyard at the north side of the port. Along the port also stands the Dock Warden Office, which logs and stores all shipments and ships that come in and out of both ports.
Bordering the Port store houses is the Shanarri Shopping district, which is a lot bigger that Solis City's Kelrik market. There's more variety in the things you can however they tend to be a bit more pricier than the Kelrik market.
In the southern Area of the City sits Verris Grove, the hospitality district, known to hold many well established Taverns, restaurants and places of entertainments. Including a few hidden brothels.
On the Opposite end of the City is Pelico Hills, the main residential area. These homes are alot more spread out than those in Glenlin Cross, they also all vary in design and differ in height, all of them have large gardens as well. Overall its quite a nice area.
In the Center of the City its the largest of buildings that can be seen all the way from the edge of Solis City, this is the Dominion Court House which stands as a beacon for the Government district, Nexik Square, it also doubles as the residences for politicians and members of the Dorin Dominion. It is also the home to the Secondary military power of the Capitol, the Legionaires.
Luna-row has a secondary Residential area along the outer rim of the city called Megriggim estates, a conglomerate of estates owned by Lords and ladies that own shares in companies that help the City prosper. They're highly secured, each estate unique to the owner, some have forests on the estate, others have greenhouses, it all depends on what the Lords and Ladies make money from.
