Deities and Religions

The Sovereign Scale, Eclipse

Although well known by any who worship Ouldim or Dinestra, Eclipse is not a Deity who is vastly worshiped. Though he is said to only wish for balance and peace among the Dimensional Planes, his actions before and during The great collapse stated otherwise. While some mages and scientists acknowledge him as the entity who gifted the world the means of the arcane arts, to the rest of the world he is seen as an entity of selfishness, the instigator of the Great Collapse and Ender of the Age of beginning having been the one to originally sowed the seeds of chaos by attempting to "Balance" Alderfey. Eclipse was also the creator of the Abyssal Plane, a large source of evil and cult worshipers. He gave birth to the most destructive Deities known to mankind and it was Eclipse who cut off all divine communication with Ouldim and Dinestra in the first place, all for his own Selfish games.
In current times the only people who pray to Eclipse are those who feel their circumstances are unfair and believe that the current hierarchy shouldn't exist. Some of his followers even ask for assistance from his children in creating "Balance" through destructive means.
To punish the other Grand Deities, Eclipse seduced an elf by the name of Astraya who gave birth to his two children, Straytos and Dimikass. As she was the mother of these two murderous entities she was nicknamed the Elven Scurge, bringing shame to the Elven race. Of course in current times the only people who seem to judge the Elven race for Astraya's pregnancy are racists and a few odd followers of Ouldim and Dinestra. There are rumors that Eclipse simply Used Astraya and didn't even love her, these same people say that he also only sees his children as weapons.
Regardless of all these things he is still one of the three Grand Deities and is commonly followed by people who believe in order, justice and that everything in the world has it's own destiny. They also believe that all lives are equal and that every living thing has a specific role to play in the grand scheme of things.
Eclipse is regarded as part of the Order and Peace Domains, additionally he is also a Neutral god, even if his actions through history don't match up based on perspective. He is Symbolized by a Golden scale encased within a Circle and Square. ---
Eclipse is depicted with a masked face of the yin-yang symbol which reveals only his right eye, though it is said to be apart of his body. A Male humanoid with four arms, a well chiseled physique, only wearing blue baggy pants. He wields a silver scimitar in one hand, with five holes near the end of it, he holds a scale in another hand while supposedly using his final two hands for casting magic.   His personality is cold and to the point, he never get's angry nor does he empathize, he does not use sarcasm or jokes to give personality to his words. He can be manipulative and cunning in order to accomplish balance, and he will not hesitate to follow the law. ----------

The Land Keeper, Ouldim

One of the three Grand Deities, Ouldim began the creation of Alderfey along with his wife Dinestra Said to bear the power of molding and structuring the four elements, Ouldim created the Seas, Skies, earth and heart of Alderfey. Allowing life to form and prosper. During The Great collapse he was depicted to be one of the powerhouses only to be beaten by His nephew, Straytos.
During the aftermath Ouldim planted the seed that grew into the largest Oak tree on the Belnezian continent. Named The Keepers Den it became the first and oldest temple for his followers, who are simply known as "The Keeper's Caretakers" or "Caretakers" for short. He also gave birth two his three children. Sodoom, Lilyfis and Treydin. Unlike the demi-gods, Straytos and Dimikass who were born to mortal mother and a Grand Deity, these three siblings were born as Deities. As powerful entities they required their own domains within the Realm of Deities. Once they became independant gods Dinestra and Ouldim created a domain for each of their children, modified to their unique yet odd personalities.
Ouldim falls under the Life, Light and Nature Domains, he is known to be a Lawful Good deity. Symbolized by a tree that holds diamond shaped leaves and a bright green gem at the center of it. ---
Depicted as an elder figure with large beard made of dark tree roots, hair made of long tree vines. His eyes glow with the dark blue coloring of tanzanite, his skin and body made of wood like that of a winding tree, his clothes are soft fabrics that compliment his nature-esc structure, and are slightly minimal, in that they consist of only a skirt of sorts and a loose shirt. Ouldim can alter his his form to look younger but he prefers to feel middle aged and wise. ----------

The Mother of Creation, Dinestra

One of the three Grand Deities, Dinestra aided in the creation of Alderfey along with her husband, The Land Keeper Ouldim. Wielding her Divine tools of creation. Known to hold a large hammer in one hand and Platinum nails in the other she showed men how to create and build. Dinestra is seen and the creator of anything and everything manmade. From walls of protection to the places they call home, even things such as the weapons used to hunt game and prepare meals are said to be the blessing of her power. She also represents strength and willpower, records emphasize this as she was told to have single handedly withstood attacks from, the Sovereign Scale, Eclipse and ,The Holy Reaper ,Dimikass during the Great Collapse.
Before leaving the Mortal plane for good, Dinestra left behind her final gift to the world, The Elder Forge. A Massive Forgery built within a Massive Volcano somewhere in the Northern Mountains of Oakwin. This construction is considered Holy ground by her followers, easily recognized by the platinum necklace they wear. The Symbol of Dinestra represented by a two sided hammer with two nails behind it in a criss-cross, pointed down.
Soon after the end of The Geat Collapse Dinestra and her husband gave birth to their three children. Sodoom, Lilyfis and Treydin. While Eclipse's children were born as demi-gods with a mortal mother and only granted the powers of a full Deity through their father, these three siblings were born with the abilities of a Deity. Once becoming their own beings each of them required their own domain within the Realm of Deities so as a gift to their children, Dinestra and Ouldim created a domain for each of their children, modified to their unique yet odd personalities.
Dinestra is a Chaotic Good Deity of the Forge and Life Domains. She is Symbolized with an octagon with an Anvil and Vertical sword attached within. ---
Supposedly Dinestra is said to be a gorgeous slender woman with dark black hair near the top that blends to a deep orange near the tips. A normal humanoid figure, she typically wears goggles on her forehead to keep her hair back, as for her clothes she has black leather heeled boots, loose grey cargo pants with all sorts of nails, screws and metal pieces in the pockets. She also wears a lighter shaded grey long sleeve button shirt, with frilled cuffs, as well as a leather apron around her waist. Normally floating around her are 4 arcaic automaton arms each with some sort of forging tool, however these arms are collapsible and fit into the pouch of her apron, along with a pair of leather gloves. Her face is kind and soft, her eyes golden like the flames of the forge.
She is a kind person, likes to tease whilst still acting like a mother, she doesn't mind a joke or two but prefers to keep things serious with those who follow her. But like that of a mother's intuition she will not hesitate to help her children when she can, even if it's only by giving hints and magical items. ----------

The Masked Scribe, Arcadiumn

A Deity that is not apart of the Grand Deities, nor was he apart of Alderfey's Great Collapse, Arcadiumn is the god of Lore and History, he merely watches the on goings of time and destiny, keeping record of all that occurs, similar to that of the scribe. He has no place to return to within the Domain of Realms, nor does he want to, he is a god that prefers freedom. Unlike the other gods, he is still able to walk among the material planes, mingles with the populace in ways that does not affect the balance of things, so he is left alone by Eclipse. Usually he wears an illusory mask to hide his presence from others, though even when he's not he usually wear's a horned mask to keep up his facade, course he does take it off from time to time.
Among the Deities he is known to be the most formal, usually wearing the attire of the wealthy, and tends to keep a pen and notebook at hand. Contradictory to this he is also the most unpredictable of the deities, as he tends to not follow any of the guidelines that have been set out by Eclipse, yet still seems to not affect reality itself. Thus making him a powerful but dangerous deity in the eyes of the Grand Deities.

The Marauding Mistress, Lilyfis

The first and only daughter of Dinestra and Ouldim. After her elder brother Sodoom was gifted the oceans and storms of Alderfey. She decided she didn't want to rule any part of the planet. Instead she asked to watch over the Ethereal plane and the Astral sea. The two dimensions which work as a means of travelling between any of the planes without the use of magic, each of them home to their own unique dangers.
Complying with her daughters wish, Dinestra granted Lilyfis the ability to freely shift between planes and dimensions. With excitement and curiosity Lilyfis began to travel between the planes and explore all that she could, giving her the name of "The marauding mistress"
She is a Neutral good Deity of the Trickery and Light domains, symbolized by a lock with three keys locked within it's loop, A sun key, a moon key and a heart key.

The Coral King Sodoom

The First born child of Ouldim and Dinestra. Sodoom was gifted Alderfey's oceans and seas to reign over by his father who then spread the news to his "Caretakers". With the news being spread, sailors and pirates alike began to follow him in hopes of being granted calm sailing weather and protection from dangerous sea creatures. Some of them became acolytes of Sodoom, building temples on remote islands and in coastal cities to spread his teachings and to embrace a lifestyle fed by the ocean.
While some have been treated well by Sodoom. Other's who have been treating the ocean life poorly, by means of pollution or overhunting certain species of marine life, seem to have disappeared over time along with their crew and ships. Few have actually survived ships that have disappeared, those who have tell of waves larger than towers, storms darker and more ferocious than the beasts of the night. It is though the Deity himself is there to personally exact his anger upon those who have dared to tarnish his teachings and everything he stands for.
Believers of the Coral King wear a necklace of darkened electrum, melded into the shape of a half moon peaking out from behind the horizon of the ocean, and a large Coral Tree poking out of it.

His face is rough and weathered face, although his eyes are bright orange. His preferred weapon is a scimitar blade of crude geometrically jagged steal, with a open handle cover, similar to a design of a key. ----------

The Cosmic Tinkerer, Treydin

he youngest of the three siblings born to Dinestra and her husband Ouldim. While his brother, Sodoom , was gifted the ocean's of Alderfey to rule over and his sister, Lilyfis, was granted the ability to shift between planes and Dimensions, Treydin was  more of a shut-in and stayed holed up in his domain. Prefering to observe Alderfey and fascinated by the creations of humanity, specifically the gadgets and gizmo's created by the gnomish and dwarven races, Treydin started to learn about mechanics and arcane powered machines, golems and arcane constructs. With his curiosity growing, he turned his domain into a labyrinth filled with a multitude of rooms, allowing him to harvest resources, process materials, tinker with his own gadgets and machines. He would go through phases on the types of things he would work on. From enchanting tools and armor to creating mechanical weapons, machines to make one's life ever easier.
Treydin is a Neutral Good Deity of the Knowledge domain, symbolized by a copper cog with geometric carvings and a gem at its center. ---
Treydin is a young figure, usually hunched over with his steampunk goggles, a large tool belt and his left arm a cybernetic attachment with multiple tools that it can switch between. His hair is short and scruffy and usually looks like its been affected by an explosion with soot on his face. His clothes are quite plain but are usually hidden under a lab coat of sorts. ----------

The Dreadnaught Disaster, Straytos

The son of Eclipse, one of the three Grand Deities , and Astraya, a mortal elven woman. Straytos was born into the world a Demi-god and with the purpose of destruction. Being a Demi-god he aged quickly reaching adulthood six months after birth along with his sister Dimikass. Once he reached adulthood his father granted him the Divine Weapon, Necrosevisis, a massive two handed Warpick made of refined tungsten, obsidion and steel known as Zecraycite.
During The Great collapse Straytos when head to head with The Land Keeper, Ouldim, and although Ouldim is a Grand Deity he was bested by Staytos. During the battle however Necrosevisis was shattered into four pieces by the impact of the two Entities final attack, these fractured pieces we're scattered across Alderfey. Standing proud after the battle he had won, Straytos was congratulated by his father and was granted the name of The Dreadnought Disaster as well as the Status of a Full Deity.
Today stories tell of how Straytos now resides in his domain among the Realm of Deities. As a Deity he does not have many followers or an acknowledged religion, though he is prayed to by countries or people entering into some sort of battle or conflict. He is usually asked for power and guidance in the heat of battle.
He's known to be a Lawful Evil deity of the War domain, Symbolized by a boney dire dragon who's wings are made of blades. ---
Straytos is a humanoid with elvish features. Short brown hair, red eyes and the physique of an Olympian. He is usually depicted as a Minotaur as he can change his form to become more beastly, he is also seen wearing armor that is similar to spartans, steel chest-plate, sandles with laces that go up the ankle and a studded leather kilt over shorts that allows more movement. He is constantly armed with a massive, two handed, war-pick decorated by intricate designs, runes and the symbol that represents ----him. ----------

The Holy Reaper, Dimikass

The daughter of Eclipse , one of the three Grand Deities , and Astraya, a mortal elven woman. Along with her younger brother, Straytos, Dimikass was brought into the world a Demi-god and aged quickly. Both she and her brother achieved adulthood just six months after birth. As a gift for achieving adulthood the siblings we're granted Divine Weapons. Dimikass received two Sickles made of Zecraycite, which she named Dyo Sabre. Wielding her divine weapon and under the order's of her father, Dimikass ripped through the fabric of reality allowing Demons and Devils to enter onto the mortal plane. Along with her father she helped defeat Dinestra in combat during The Great Collapse. With all the death she had bought to Alderfey, she was granted the name The Holy Reaper and the status of a full Deity.
In current times, people see Dimikass as the bringer of death or as the collector of souls. She decides whether a soul is to be sent to Hell or granted a place on Mount Celestia to await reincarnation. People prey to her asking for safe passage for their dying relatives. Unlike Straytos, Dimikass gained followers, who are identified by silver rings that bare her symbol the wings wrapping around the followers finger. They preach that Dimikass gives her followers salvation, and while she has a domain in The Realm of Deities she spends most of her time among the living watching over her followers.
Like her brother she is a Lawful Evil deity, but is of the Death and Grave Domains. Symbolized by an eye with wings made of sickle blades wrapping. ---
A gorgeous woman with two sets of dark black wings, draped in battle armor made of black and red metals, decorated with skulls, the armor covering most of her body. She carries two black sickles made of the toughest steel on alderfey. Her short red hair and silver eyes makes her a beautiful site. ----------
