Badgers

A syndicate of professional monster hunters that run out of their home, a secluded island in the De-Kallio archipelago, knowledgeable on a massive variety of creatures and monsters as well as their habits, attack patterns, resistances, vulnerabilities and how they are to be best dealt with.

On most occasions they will only hunt monsters if they are attacked or if it is apart of a job, their rates are higher than a guild, but they are more effective and get jobs done a lot quicker than regular adventurers. Additionally all badgers are trained in variety of weapons, tracking techniques, as well as some sort of artisan equipment, typically alchemy.

Of course each badger has his or her own preference of what monsters they hunt as well as combat styles. Very few badgers are capable of wielding magic, regardless all of them are trained to be as experienced as a gold ranked adventurer before embarking on travels. Usually they are trained from young, brought in as children who are orphaned or tend to get into trouble a lot and are looking for their own path in life. None are brought against their will, although many speculate this to be false.
