Aaron Aaron is believed to be hundreds of years old, and is a very dangerous individual. Keep on his good side at all costs.
The de-facto head of the AL. Personally runs the research division of the AL, the most cutthroat and dangerous individuals in the AL: His personal lackey's, used accomplish his most important missions, and are not above murder and thievery. He uses the AL itself to accomplish his political ambitions, nothing less than the enslavement of all free races. He will stop at nothing to accomplish his designs. Any pretense of needing hero's to "protect the world" from a vague evil should be considered completely selfish manipulation and fakery, or at least completely misguided. He is a broken individual.
Recently he has orchestrated a vast socio/military/politcal series of events to create an empire controlled by him. The menace of the Orcs coming from the underdark, increase in criminal activity, including heinous animal fighting rings, all serve to further his ends. His plans are coming to fruition at an accelerating pace, with many innocents already sacrificed to his cause, and we believe there to be little time left. To defeat the massive armies of orcs now spilling forth, ravaging the countryside, and the barbarians coming from the North, he has setup a meeting of rulers to form an alliance of kingdoms. This alliance will make the seed of his empire.
The black tower stands in his way, causing the key nation of Aldaria to hesitate to join the proposed alliance. He has promised to help deal with it. Additionally, the priest Jonas, has an item of great importance to Aaron. He must not be allowed to obtain it.
He must be stopped at all costs.
Jonas (Cleric) A stern and hateful priest, now cloistured in the Black Tower. He controls the surrounding areas using the power of the box, and has his own nation building designs. We believe he believes strongly in his own religion, fooled by his own ignorance. Believes that he is bringing his God back into the world through the power of the box.
Levithian Religion: Followers of the God of Earth. This is mostly a false religion, if such a God ever existed, he is broken, and his power is contained in a small box. Box now held by Jonas.
The Dark Tower Appeared only one year ago, raised by the power of the box. Jonas stays mostly in the top, where the box is believed to be held. While it rises high into the sky, it also descends deep underground.
Dark Briar Glen The town built up around Briar Glen, growing at a tremendous pace. Destination of entrepreneurs, those in search of simple payed labor, and religious and alivened pilgrims. A melting pot of multiple intelligent races and alivened creatures.
The Council of Nobles A group of rich priests, merchants, and others who make up the town leadership. Although some are loyal to Jonas, many are simply living as parasites to the power and wealth he provides. They have regular gatherings and meetings for both work and recreation.
Lucky A deluded gnome who seeks objects that he believes will turn himself into a leprechaun and/or save the world. Unknown: The actual use, power, or importance of the objects he seeks.
