Lucky the Gnome Leprechaun

• Real name: Valbar Wibblemarble
• The gnomes that are caretakers in the Unicorn shrine live very sedate lives, unusual for a gnome. “Lucky” was a particularly not-sedate gnome (even for gnomes) and ran away from home when young. He went to the gnomish city in the north, and on the way there he found the rainbow ring (a quantum object). He researched the origins of the ring and realized he needed to return home, it was connected to other sacred objects that his people were caretakers over.
• He had to return home because he learned that the ring was connected to his home, some sacred relics there, and the unicorns. He now knew somewhat of the importance of the quantum objects there and of the seeping EXing that no-one knew about (although perhaps with a misconception of it).
• He was an especially clever and vivacious gnome. Before returning home, he found some amount of fame for his cleverness among his close encounters, and those in the city wished him to stay. He fell in love with Lilniana Palebraid.  Lilliana Gearbraid Flubbenwabble
• The ring gave him power to teleport but with some randomness added. Over-use of it started to effect his mind.
• Once home, the other caretakers would not listen to him, so he secretly used the ring to obtain the rainbow hat and the pot of gold. Use of these items, and the return to the structured placid existence of his people, further effected his mind, and he became convinced he needed to find a set of all of the rainbow items and to become a leprechaun in order to stop the EXing.
• He has a theory that accurately describes the history of the quantum and the EXing but it involves only colors of the rainbow.
• He needed 2 more parts: the coin and the scepter. With Dave’s help he got the scepter which was guarded by a dragon wyrmling, but he lost the hat. He will get the hat back, and realize that the coin is in the box, and may go into the TBD buried tower to find it.
• May become good later, may trick the adventurers again. His lost love or others may come to request help… he may try and fail to get the coin and become trapped, where you find him when you start down the tower.
• If you find him trapped in the cave, he will tell you his story if asked, he will help you get the box back, he will take the coin for himself, turn into a leprechaun and teleport away.
