Reportedly the Haunted Steppes is a very dark place in the world; Constantly covered in a thin veil of fog, skies which are always grey and cloudy, strange sounds that appear just behind you but there's never anything there. It has a very horror story ascetic to it, Geographically however there are sprawling fields both elevated on and surrounded by mountains.
