Cântec Rătăcitor (CON-tech Rah-TAH-chee-TORE)

The cântec rătăcitor (Common trans. "Ranging song") is an ancient Venic tradition used to call the wild and feral souls of Anima home to Foraoise de Venin. The cântec is traditionally sung in High Venic, a tongue purported to date back to Anima's beginnings and largely lost following the An Riomh catastrophe; Said to be imbued with the magicks of the Seiliegh and Animortui it is also the religious language of Le Venin and spoken exclusively in Ecclesian worship. A practitioner of this tradition is known as a Rătăcitor (Common trans. "Ranger"), though they are increasingly rare as Le Venin spends century after century in seclusion.
