Alaniveh

Stretching 600 leagues from the frozen mines of Otska to the sandy shores of Warrphar, Alaniveh was the emerald jewel of the Hasican empire. Formed after the Red Night, where tribes and factions in the land gathered behind one hundred and eight heroes to overthrow the machinations of the foul Gods Below, the Hasicans rules over all land from the Wine Sea to the mountains of Mordain's Spine. But peace was not kept, rivalries sparked anew, and now the Hasican empire is a shell of its former self. While so called Tower Dukes vie for control over the central valleys, they still pay lip service to the Imperial court in Orlain, city of life.   The last 50 years have seen small border skimrishes begin to erupt into open warfare between the dukes. Bands of private armies roam from one conflict to the next, seeking payment in land, while others take up the thankless task of protecting the countryside from the predations of the beastmen, creatures formed by the Gods Below to retake the land.
