Sand elves

Different than the rest of elves with distinguitable features. The elves have small downwards pointing ears and a tanned skin. Their legs are long and bodies lean.

Anatomy

Mostly same as the common elf. The ears are much shorter and bend downwards. They have a hard time gaining fat or muscles.

Mature at the age of 25. Life lasts to around 700 years but the oldest who ever lived was 922

Ecology and Habitats

The species has adapted to the life at the desert, they need much less water and can withstand much hotter environment than it's cousins. The optimal environment for them is at the desert and they can find it hard to live outside it.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They don't need much water and they don't need much fats in their diet.

Biological Cycle

Time doesn't affect elves much, and they aren't used to the environment changing much either. Too much change might stress them out.

Mostly same as the common elf. They cannot control magic as well but are more connected to nature and can be easily overwhelmed in forests.
