Askraj

Askraj is the biggest landmass one can find in Akhran. Due to its size, Askraj is the home of no less than twenty nations and intelligent countless creatures.
Experts choose to divide the continent in three sections: the mainland, composed by the Rakshana desert, it's adyacent nations, the Zau colonies and the southwest islands; the Zau region, a continental island located at the northeast of the mainland; and the minor lands, a smaller chunk of land located in the west and it's respective islands.

The Dark Deluge

Askraj was the most affected by the flood, historians estimate over sixty percent of it's total surface lost underwater and the extinction of various civilizations.
The floods formed the gap between the mainland and the minor lands, known today as the Thavendran Sea. And separated what is today the Ahau-Ku territory from the rest of the continent.
The only record of the event was discovered in a Rakshana Empire, proving that it was the least affected nation, which allowed to flourish as the great empire that is today.

Geography

Askraj is dominated by desertic regions and generally dry areas. However, it is still a diverse continent.
The mainland and minor land have multiple large mountain ranges. Minor land is the home of the world's biggest swamp.
Askraj also has cold temperatures on the north, due to their proximity to the north pole.
