Affinity
Affinities are extraordinary abilities that most people have, ranging from mundane to powerful.
Classes
- Kinesis: The ability to control, manipulate, and generate a subject, object, or concept using non-physical means. (i.e. Hydrokinesis, Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Geokinesis, Dynamokinesis)
- Transmutation: Powers that can alter and reform the structures of their bodies, objects, and people’s appearances. (i.e. shapeshifting, size manipulation, elasticity, adaptation)
- Hybrid: Hybrids are when two or more powers are mixed, combining aspects of different affinities. Their abilities are a unique blend of the powers they possess.
- Thinker: The ability to use psychic abilities (i.e. telepathy, psychic constructs, psychokinesis, teleportation, precognition, hypnosis, clairvoyance)
- Replication: The ability to copy and replicate existing Affinites, people, places, things, etc. They can mimic the powers of others, either temporarily or permanently.
- Absorption: The ability to absorb already existing Affinites.
- Negation: Abilities, powers, and conceptions that are negated or rendered meaningless, either temporarily or permanently; are The second rarest of Affinities. (i.e. Power Negation, Obsolescence, Omni-Negation, Anti-Magic, Bypassing)
- Hax: People with powers that are overpowered and "broken as fuck". The rarest of Affinities (i.e. Meta-Luck, Meta-Learning, Author Authority, Complete Arsenal, Meta Fate Manipulation)
Sub-Classes
- Proxy: People who gain Affinity abilities through artificial means; Accidental, deliberate, mystical, technological, etc. There's always a 50% chance that the body will not accept the Affinity and will try to reject it.
- Semantic: A sub-class of Hax defined by interpretation rather than anything more logical.
