Division of Aimanix
Geographical fragmentation of the continent
Aimanix is largely divided into 6 places. There are a few inland seas, but overall, the world is made of one supercontinent. The six kingdoms have adopted isolatonist tendencies, and several of them suffer for it. Additionally, the Centrelands are pretty barren, so food is hard.
Geography
The Centrelands, contrary to their name, are slightly off-center geographically. Some parts of the Centrelands reach all the way to the eastern coast, which is heavily populated. To the northeast is the kingdom of Arfelyi. Arfeyli spans a mountain range, with multiple valleys and plateaus, as well as some scrubland. It's cliffsides all the way across the east, and beaches on the west. The interiors are mainly plateaus, fields, forests, lagoons and swamps. In the far south is Borita - mainly a rainforest, but with utterly IMMENSE trees. There's also a few peat bogs, which are dangerous and should be stayed away from. In west-southwest, there's Otcher - rich in mineral deposits, and not much else. Bit of a barren, craggy area. Technically, Otcher is its own peninsula. On the northwest tip of Aimanix is Xakan - a place that's super-rich in ancient Aiman tech. It's like a tech graveyard, and mainly has the same geographical features as the Centrelands. Zarule is an archipelago off the western coast, and the political entity of Zarule has some territory on the coast. Ilnis is on the northwest tip, and paradoxically has a high mountain civilization that is also volcanic. Arfeyli and Ilnis are the main sources of water, though the centrelands has quite a few lakes and aquifers.
