Scorchmouth

A city in the heart of Esith, on the bank of the Jade river. It's name comes from it's biggest import - Scorchmouth Ale.

Government

Scorchmouth is the capital of the Flamelands and loosely regarded as the capital of Esith. Scorchmouth controls Shadestrand, Shimmershore, Dewden, Mighthollow, Wolf's Den, and Orchid's Clearing, but the control varies town to town. The governemnt is called the Coalaltion, and is run by voted in representatives of several factions. There are embassy to the rest of the governments.

Defences

There is a large 12ft well crafted stonewall surrounding the city. There is a constant rotation of guards that patrol the top of the wall, as well as posted at every entrance. There are large ballista on each wall. There is also a keep that houses powerful retired adventurers that are contracted to keep the city safe.

Industry & Trade

The most important brew is Scorchmouth Ale, which also brings in swaths of tourists. There is also a large timber industry, as well as fishing. The Goldenforge also brings in many rich adventurers who fund the city.

Infrastructure

The city has well cobbled roads, several industries, and a large keep.
