Of many things do the gods say about humanity. They condemn out cruelty, and praise our compassion. They damn our pride, yet encourage our progress. Compare us then to these unchanging dwarves, wrathful orcs, and the emptiness of elves, would you Gods not tire of their staleness? We bring you war and worship, sacrifice and greed, stories of love, and horrible suffering, let us forget these haughty Others, and embrace the ever changing tide of Humanity as the true inheritors of this world, if only the Gods permit. Already we've peopled this world in as many varieties and cultures as there are stars in the evening sky. I sing to you now my Ode to Humanity.
