Ahm

The history of Ahm is much like the history of most other worlds. In the beginning, and for quite a while after, it was hot and rocky and not extremely interesting, unless of course, you happen to be a person who loves hot, and rocky and old. Since we are not academics seeking to study the world before everything, we'll skip ahead a bit. Ahm, after some time spent cooling down, is an abundant world. Lush forests and productive ecosystems spread across continents. Many of the scholars who live in the few pockets of civilization believe that Ahm, while abundant in all the stuff that plants and animals need to grow, is also abundant in magic that seeps out onto the surface. They believe that this magic feeds the wilderness, creating endless forests, unforgettable thunderstorms, and creatures of all shapes and sizes. Unfortunately, if you are a budding civilization, all this nature makes it nearly impossible to establish a community. Many have risen over the course of Ahm's lifetime and most have been reclaimed by the world, to exist as ruins of temples or vaults filled with forgotten knowledge of millennium past.
