The Absalom Institute

The research center and university that was founded by the great silver dragon Absalom in 1832 as a center for scientific and arcane innovation. It has led the world into a bright new era of technology and industry.
Deanship of the university has been passed down through the generations and now currently resides with Absalom IV.
Though management has changed, the Institute’s reputation and rate of advancement has not. When the world looks for innovations, they look to Absalom.

Alterations

What started off as a small laboratory in a marshy field has grown into a full university with an expansive library, several state of the art labs/workshops, classrooms, and dormitories.

Architecture

The buildings are made of a white stone with sharp corners and slowly slanted slate shingled roves. Second stories are framed by tall, smooth pillars of the buildings that have them. Balconies are wrapped in wrought-iron fences that come up to about waist height. Walkways between buildings are covered in a pale, off white gravel that lead to brick patios at entrances. In the center of the campus is a large stone fountain with the statue of a silver dragon standing majestically at the top.
