Ahkeysron, a fragile world where the natural and supernatural exist together side by side. It is a world of many wonders, those made by the sentient races that inhabit it and those crafted by the unseen forces of nature.   There are two known dimensions in Ahkeysron: One being the natural world, where the laws of nature, man and the other races persevere. The other is a macabre world of nightmarish terrors and evil that feeds off the existence of the other. Between these worlds lies a thin magical veil that separates them. Maintaining this veil is an ancient order of magic users: wizards, warlocks and sorceresses that use their abilities to keep the nightmares from intruding upon the natural world. They are known as the Majai Circle.   When the magic veil fails to keep the worlds separated and the creatures from the other side seep through the Majai call upon an order of warriors known as The Nightscape Interim to hunt down and destroy the evil infection. These hunters of the nightmare creatures come from all sects of life, some are magic users themselves, other experts in sword craft, gunsmiths and scholars. They are heavily trained in the dark arts to fight the demonic scourge and resist the infectious madness closely related to the intrusion by other worldly evils.
