Elven

Elven sounds refined and elegant when spoken. Elven script is written top to bottom, then left to right. It is made up of a syllabary of flowing lines devoid of right angles. It is considered a good mark of elven calligraphy to be able to weave syllables together in a single continuous stroke from the top of the page to the bottom. For exceptionally large pages or lengthy scrolls, this requires a special pen or brush and an assistant to keep the ink flowing. Alternatively, magical writing implements have been created for just such a purpose.
