Sheik Hamed

Hamed is an ancestor of the Sultan (and, by extension, Jasmine) who appeared in the Aladdin episode "Lost and Founded". He was the founder of the city of Agrabah itself, thousands of years ago presumably.

Appearance

In the original timeline: Hamed is a tall man with a black beard and moustache and brown skin. He wears a turban and Nomadic clothes.

History

Founder of Agrabah.   In the original timeline: He was the founder of Agrabah and whose bloodline helped shape the history of Jasmine and her father as rulers. He lived a nomad life until the day he found a spot for Agrabah to be built.   In the altered timeline: One of the few platonic friends Jafarina had. They influenced the decisions of the younger female snake into what it is today. Their wisdom in world affairs and winning the hearts of the people encouraged them to rule with fewer schemes. Granted, she still schemes, but at a more benevolent level. This started after she saved him from the sandstorm that nearly overtaken the entire caravan of people he had led to founding a place to call home. It wasn't until many years after his passing that Agrabah reached the level of structures and majesty it held during the original timeline; a rate that was accelerated by Jafarina's knowledge and magic. For while there are many statues and portraits of the queen and her royal Vizier, a specially made portrait of the founder was created, found in a modest part of the palace to showcase the history of the founding. The painting itself is warded to protect from the ravages of time and remain in a colorfully vibrant tone. While the artist was not known, it was speculated that this very painting was made by the queen herself. However, she made no mention of this to anyone... only a sly grin.
