As of the year 2234, the Colony Premier of Glenn had started its military celebrations after its 'military skirmishes' with Roxide, another Colony Premier. Due to the extremely restricted nature of interplanetary wars as per IRC regulations, humanity was not as militarily prepared for a full-scale war in terms of military supplies or tactical genius.

Unfortunately, however, no one ever told the Prime Minister of Glenn. After an exploratory Cliv' ship appeared in-system via wormhole, the Prime Minister ordered an attack on the ship, believing erroneously that it was an undiscovered Roxish warship. After being overridden despite their reservations, the Admirals in charge of the Space Fleet launched a failed assault on the ship, and it conducted a second wormhole transit through them and arrived above the planet. The Spaiens-Cliv Conflicts had begun.
