Civilization and Culture

History

Aerenal Elves

The Aerenal Elves in Atera are those of higher stature, typically those who serve in the courts of nobility.

Aereni High Elves

These Elves serve in cities and towns in the courts of nobility

Aereni Wood Elves

These Elves serve as representatives of the Elves who live in wooded and unsettled areas in the courts of nobility.

Drow

The Drow of Atera were created by Ludis. For most of their history, the Drow have lived underground alongside the Gray Dwarves. Recently, many Drow have migrated to the surface in an attempt to clear the bad name of their ancestors.

Eladrin

The Eladrin are the only race created by all three of the gods. It is said that they were the very first creation and are the reason the gods created everything else without input from one another.
  • Ludis crafted their summer
  • Tudon crafted their spring
  • Vityx crafted their autumn
  • And winter came to them naturally

High Elves

The High Elves of Atera are sophisticated people that tend to look down on others. These Elves refuse to join The Tinker's Guild for they believe that they are so much more intelligent than any of the members that they would be brought down to their level and be rendered useless and idiotic. This perfectly sums the attitude of the High Elves.

Sea Elves

The Sea Elves of Atera rarely visit the land. Some, explorative Sea Elves venture to the surface to bring back the unimaginable treasure of the surface back to their tribes.

Wood Elves

Wood Elves are the most common Elves in Atera. They are fairly reclusive, often staying within the forested areas of the world, and tend to be skittish around new people. It is not uncommon for Wood Elves to flee to their homes within the forest when they see a group of adventurers wandering near their tribe's lands.
