Splithoof Bay

The largest city on Bakish, and also the nation’s capitol, lies on the southwestern shore of the island, in Splithoof Bay. The city is fortified, built on and around the extended peninsula in the middle of the Bay. Built mainly from sandstone and brick, the city would be a drab and dull place, if it were not for the colourful awnings of markets and bazaars, the flowering vines and creepers, and the verdant rooftop gardens found on almost all homes in the inner city, as the rings of concentric walls would otherwise dominate the vista.
