Ridgeback

Though it is hard to identify the most central or most important Settlement in an area like Fen Shanty, the large Settlement of Ridgeback may be classed as such. It is a sprawl of whitewashed brick buildings, interspersed with communal gardens and larger gathering halls - but lacking the palaces and official buildings found in most capital cities, replacing them instead with tiered public squares, where lively debates are held on all topics, from the organization of gardening parties to urban development.
