The Slop Pits

While most of the sewers are disgusting, the area beneath The Stables is the most disgusting. The sewer in this area ends in several tanks, collecting all the sewage in one place. Once used to provide fertilizers to nearby farms, the mechanisms that once allowed the offal to be pulled out have been destroyed.
Most residents, even the Force of the Eye , avoid this area. The stench is horrible and there are rumored to be foul creatures down here. The most desperate of the city can escape down here, but the smell lingers on them for days.
