The Badlands

One of the most corrupt areas in Barsaive, the Badlands was once one of the most fertile areas in Barsaive. Then the Scourge came and the land suffered horribly. Today, the Badlands are a barren wasteland with little water and what life can be found is twisted and corrupted. There are rumored to be many ruined kares and citadels in the Badlands, but surely all of their inhabitants are dead or worse.
To make matters worse, the Badlands have been growing over the decades since the Scourge ended, threatening the city of Travar and the plains beyond.
