Werewolf
Basic Information
Anatomy
In human form they are indistinguishable from regular humans. Their wolf form will usually be a bit bigger than a normal wolf, but otherwise very similar. More powerful werewolves are capable of partially transforming from one form into another.
Genetics and Reproduction
Werewolves can reproduce with humans as well as other werewolves. The offspring of these mixed unions might be werewolf or human, although they are more likely to be human. The gestation period for all werewolves is the same as for humans, and pregnant werewolves don't have to transform at the full moon, as transforming with damage the baby. Werewolves cannot made through biting a human.
Growth Rate & Stages
Wolves usually have their first transformation around puberty - around age 13. Traditionally, the earlier the transformation comes, the stronger the wolf is believed to be.
Ecology and Habitats
Werewolves often live away from human populations, in their own relatively closed-off communities.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Their diet will be the usual one for whichever form they're in
Additional Information
Social Structure
Werewolves live in packs, although these packs are often larger than usual wolf packs (can be up to about 50 people), closer to the size of human village communities. Packs are led by Alphas and Betas.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
They often don't bother with surnames, although most will have one.
Common Dress Code
Within their packs they are usually unbothered about nudity - it would not be unusual to go around naked, as this makes transformations easier.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Werewolves and humans do sometimes mix, although this is more unusual as most packs don't have extended close contact with humans.
