Session 10: Sorted By Taste

The session starts with the party resting after their encounter with the Braerogs.
After travelling the party finds their way to the Adamantine Mine. It was jutting out of the ground, looking like a rat under a rug. The mound was guarded by 7 Kobolds, 1 with wings. which were quick dispatched after being put to sleep. After that, Mikoto joins the party again.
The entrance is a small, overgrown and presents a depression, leading down into a tight corridor of darkness. Making their way through trap riddled entrance. The small hall opens into a large room with another chained to its end where barricades are set up. Balconies line the sides of this first room and nooks are blocked from line of sight in the next room. All this clearly set up for a defender’s advantage. Following these rooms - A deep pool of water awaited the party. Jutting out from it, stone columns with bridges leading to them and to the other side of the pool.
After fight through the rooms, the characters make their way to the main room. The smell of fresh pork is the first thing noticed. The next is a large grouping of beds and kobolds tending to them. A table sits at the end of the room with primal contraptions and improvised weapons setting atop it. There is a prison cell next to the table. inside the bars, Firenewts were kept captive. The source of the nice smell as a spit with a boar roasting on it. Kobolds have flipped over the wooden table they were dining at for cover and the the crippled kobold cook is being held at knife point to keep cooking.
After saving the cook and firenewts the party takes a long rest and get ready to go down into the mines.
The party take a mine cart down through the mines. While on the ride, the party's cart road alongside two kobold filled carts and after destroying their carts, that party picked up speed and crashed at the end of the shaft. The party is immediately attacked by a group of kobolds and a brass dragon. The session ended with the lose victory of the party over the dragon and kobolds.
