Tau'Ree
The sphere Tau'Ree is cold place, with about two thirds of its surface covered in ice. Even with the ice receding after the last ice age, the world is far from hospitable.
Geography
Tau'Ree only has one large continent, covering about three quarters of the planet. The surrounding ocean covers the poles. About two thirds of the spheres surface is covered in ice, leaving only the equatorial regions mostly ice free.
Fauna & Flora
Most icy regions offer little in terms of fauna. Only creatures adapted to the cold live near the ocean, hunting fish and each other. The ice free regions and their chilly climate mostly sport boreal forests and wind-swept tundras. Most bigger fauna has been either domesticated or hunted to extinction. Only smaller rodents and birds remain on the land, while the ocean contains dwindling schools of fish and crusteans.
Natural Resources
By far the most important resource of Tau'Ree are the ample Arca ore deposits deep under the northern and southern ice shelfs. Other than that, Tau'Ree offers ample iron ore, coal and sizeable deposits of most other known ores and metals.
