The blue glow of a Quanta addict lights up the street. A garbled cry echoes off the walls. You bang on the service door of a house in the rich district of Ilum. The door unlocks and you stagger through, panting about the addict chasing you. A guard captain steps into the street and deals with the situation. The satisfying 'pop' tells you, your competition has been dealt with, the Quanta in this house is yours...
Quanta is a substance harvested from lightning birds and Quanta Dragons. Not exactly a fuel source and not exactly something to eat it has many unpredictable propeties which makes the refinement process extremely hard.
