The Void
The Void is a dimension where nothing can exist. The only things that can exist are the celestial beings who traverse the Void and guard it, such as the Primordials, Shadows ferrying Light, Unbonded Shadows, and Fallen Shadows. The Void is the layered echoes of the universes that came before, the universes that have been lost. It forms the fortress, the shell, the barrier between the Lifeplane and the Destroyer's Abyss, and it also separates the Lifeplane from the Source.
Besides the Primordials, there is no sentient life in the Void.

Geography
There is nothing in the Void but echoes of what used to be. Divine beings, however, have the ability to temporarily manifest an imitation of those lost things, granting them surfaces on which to walk. The Void is, however, super-saturated with Etherion in its particle form (see Etherion), so much so that Etherion spills out into the Lifeplane wherever rifts occur.
